Simply put, we love dogs and have 6 miniature schnauzer house dogs with another one moving in Summer 2020.
We are retired and home with the dogs all day. They are housebroken, they love people, and they are good with children. And believe me, our 5 year-old granddaughter does not make it easy on them! We have a fenced-in yard, and the dogs go in and out through the doggy door.
Miniature schnauzers are alert and active and usually give themselves plenty of exercise checking things out. They also DO NOT SHED. This is wonderful for people with allergies or good housekeepers. They do have a sharp bark; however, miniature schnauzers do not bark all the time. They just want to make sure their humans know what is going on! Miniature schnauzers need to be groomed by someone good with clippers, but this breed does not have a doggy odor (like the hound family, no offense). Five out of six of our dogs are too small for show-quality, if that is a concern for you.
We are attempting to provide a variety of color options, but because of the dominant/recessive gene traits, we cannot know what litters may look like. We can promise, though, that our puppies will be well loved.
Puppies come with a puppy pack to include:
- A familiar bed - A toy Pictures of the parents - A copy of the pedigree—sorry, no show champions, so far - AKC registration forms - The health record from the veterinarian - A food sample
